This afternoon Allied Press was contacted by Government cyber security organisation Cert NZ about a data breach affecting its ODT Archive service. Those affected by the breach have been sent an email containing more information. Read more on Otago Daily Times. Since Allied Press owns Otago Daily Times and is a news outlet, you’d hope for some more details, perhaps. At this time, there is nothing on their site to explain what kind of breach this was.
